Pity its 3/4 paved now.
The race was pretty fun last year, but there can be a long time between runs. You also can't leave until every vehicle has raced or go to the peak afterwards. You'll also have to listen to people yell "STAY OFF THE ROAD" about 5 dozen times.

Not pikes peak but... stunning. Also there's some great clips of the Mt. Washington race when it was still a race. Look for Frank Sprongl or I'll try to post soon.
