w108om617 i would like to get around 100hp what is the simple process to get it

Swap your engine for a turbo model.

Your engine's power is limited by the available air, not fuel, and it will not hold up to adding a turbo.

hello thanks for your reply
here its not posible now to find this kind of engine all the benz cd/sd and td were send to your countries
here we still have 616 and 617 atmo and new generation 60x engine
its work good whith this old car (here new are shit) i can drive 160km/h easily
and the good cruise is 140km/h i just want to use performed injectors to get a better combustion winning 10hp
i know turbo is better i had one turbo gt2 on a renault 25td that i modify little
to get more hp have you anide about nozzles i can use

Nozzles do not increase power, they increase the amount of fuel injected. You would only get black smoke.

ok thanks

Re: w108 om 617 280se 3.46dif - bgkast - 11-15-2008

You could fit a small turbo and limit boost to 6-7 psi. You would then need to increase fuel flow too. Also the engine will probably not last as long as a stock turbo engine.

Re: w108 om 617 280se 3.46dif - w108om617 - 11-15-2008

ok i understand ......its like put a collector escape with a tc but whithout correcting lda on ip also reducing pressure inside around 0.5bars correcting a little the ip to have an aproximative result
somes car here are runnin like that we call them low pressure turbo or flat turbo

Re: w108 om 617 280se 3.46dif - w108om617 - 11-15-2008

and what about injectors today i saw injectors comingfrom
td renault bosch 1998 they are 135 bars press and atomize better than stocks ones?

Re: w108 om 617 280se 3.46dif - bgkast - 11-18-2008

If you were to add a low-boost turbo I would up the pop-pressure of the injectors to 135 BAR

Re: w108 om 617 280se 3.46dif - Simpler=Better - 11-24-2008

Making use of what power you have is going to be the best route. You said you have already installed electric fans to lower engine draw when the mechanical fans wasn't needed.

I would adjust your timing and balance the injectors, also you could add under body fairings to reduce air resistance.
