Hi, I have a 1995 Mercedes E300-24 Diesel
I`m thinking about monting a OM606A engine in this, as you know they only came with "drive by wire" controls.
If I mounted it in my car, who have the OM606NA-engine, I Should change the transmission, what kind of 722.3-trasnmissions would suit the OM606A-engines, I`m thinking about 722.357(OM603A), but worried if it will change gears at the correkt time with this engine.
And what about the Fuel injection pump.
Would a pump from a OM603A with ELR be the best alternative, how is this to modify.
If I do this, I want to make the engine stronger and ready for more power, what are your tips?
What are the differences of the NA and turboed engines?
