I don't know what kind of turbo he is running but it takes a while to get it lit off definitely did some work on pump

The Finns are famous for using Holset HX40's on OM603's and OM606's. Not what I'd consider to be a 'small' turbo for a 3.0L I6. Luckily, we have high RPM on our side to get them lit...so we can get away with much larger turbos than 'other' diesel engines - provided we can live with a little lag.
