OM 603 - 617 I.P. Relief Valve - zeeman - 08-11-2016

Anyone use a 617 I.P. relief valve to replace the non adjustable 603 one. I understand they are compatible, any input on this?

Yes, I did this on my pump. The bolt it sticks out slightly farther but it is the same thread and fits the banjo fitting, etc.

Can't comment on performance much, I had it on my stock IP with the Greazzer springĀ and it seemed to help a bit, but I put the old one on my upgraded pump when I was trying to bleed it thinking that maybe that was an issue...turns out the rack was stuck. Anyway, going to be putting the 617 bolt back in soon.

helps nothing. u can use it if u need any kind of regulation other than the .4 bar on the 603.
