ip fuel load - Antonio - 02-01-2017

Got 602 turbo IP on 605 turbo... what should i do to get to maximum load? I have found thread that says how but there is no pictures and i dont get what to do exactly ... Can anyone go with pictures or any explanation

sorry mate to dissapoint, but that is not so easy... if it was everibody was doing it, but u sure can try.
unscrew the botom bolt inside the governor untill it does not recover to idle, when it is at that position turn it in untill u have idle again .
more than that will unbalace the governor and the pump will have to be sincronized and idle balanced. assuming u donĀ“t have access to a bench , much more can be done. at least in a 5.5mm pump

I have a bosch mechanic nearby , can he max out the fuel output without ruining the idle? What power can stock om602 pump give to the om605 engine?

Very low. Maybe it does not reach 30hp cylinder. All is about the elements inside the pump.
If u can swap the 6 mil elements from the electronic pump in and u can get about 90cc wich is good for 40/45 hp.
At least u'll have the fuel , then is a questio of turbo / engine eficiency dadadada.
