Prechamber mods - Eric78 - 07-11-2022

Long time without post. Is there a guide on this forum to flame front modding prechambers? Specifically 605/606 ones in my case.

I replaced my 617 chambers and drilled them out one bit size larger in the same orientation and it gave me more power and less smoke. dropped 1/2 second in 0-60 mph. I have a pic somewhere - post it later

There are plenty of mod's .... usually they worth small.
I'm pretty positve MB envisaged the best solution for the power level, and emissions , keeping an eye on vibes and noise as the major concern , otherwise all this engines would have been built as DI.
As for my experiments , cocluded that high reving road cars, a opening in the holes help a bit , as every other mod.
High low TQ engines do not seem to benefit the same mod.
Nevertheless there are other easier mods that help much more, wich are valve train related.
Usually we open the neck hole to 8mm, and the 8 around holes to 2.8.
This changes some things in the dinamics off the engine, so up to u to chase it.
