I have recently replaced all my vacuum lines and still have symptoms of late shift. I have tried locating the adj knob on the tranny shown here in this link but cannot find it.

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.mercedesdismantlers.com//722.118_transmission_adjustments.html">http://www.mercedesdismantlers.com//722 ... ments.html</a><!-- m -->

any help on where exactly it is located would be greatly appreciated as I still haven't been able to make myself sell it( I am still deploying but pulled her off ebay to continue driving as long as possible, and my even have my dad keep it for me while I am gone)

also I have checked my system and have NO leaks according to my vacuum gauge

-thanks

Oh right, that changes everything. Does cruise and climate control work properly. Is it only shifting late? Did you check the position sensor relay on the valve cover?

no cruise doesnt work, and the climate control works (sometimes, heat works but only one temperature and air worked sometime but mostly not at all this summer) ... What does the position sensor relay look like ? and what does it have to do with shifts, cruise and climate control?

(actually is the position relay sensor the plug on top of the valve cover?) and if so what am I checking for?

Check em with am multi meter. That switch acts the same as the 3/2 valves in earlier models which will affect shifting.

any idea on what the reading should be? and also where is the best place to get a replacement cable if needed. I found the relay itself but not the cable.
