I'm currently swapping my 190e with a OM602 Turbo.

I found the engine in a scrap yard but on the engine they only have the glow plug harness. I also have the ECU.

I was wondering what harness do i need to get to plug on the ECU to make the car start and roll?

I'm also converting it to 5 speed manual so I guess no need for wiring on the transmission.

Thanks in advance!

You only need the glow plug harness to start.

If its a 90 or later 602, the ECU controls the vacuum operated wastegate. If you switch to a pressure-operated wastegate then you do not need the ECU at all.

Well that's a good new.

But if i'm not running a ECU the engine performance will be the same? Cause i'm planning to boost a little bit my engine for racing use. So if I understand enven if I change my IP and the turbo I doesn't need to tune the ECU right?

I'm alway been with gas and slowing going to diesel so I'm kind newb here sorry.

The ECU is for the EGR and wastegate. The rest is totally mechanical.
