is it only OM605/606 People care about ?? :/
Nice! We made similar engine but with 6mm elements, stock internals and 606 turbo. It made 170hp/330nm, drove 15 000km and now few days ago one rod decided to leave from engine through oil pan. It worked like a charm and it was very nice to drive, just needs better rods.
I belive 300hp is no problem but I would choose 7.5mm elements for that power, 8mm elements are really noisy and make engine knock very hard.
Why did you cut intake manifold straight through port tube and not between two ports? Now it's a lot more welding.
I like this unusual build It should make the W201 light, yet fast.. and waaaay more room under the hood than with 1 or 2 cilinders extra
How about the fuel lines? Can you take the fuel lines from 605 or 606 ?

170hp/330nm, was this measured at Wheels or crank ?

(11-01-2016, 04:40 AM)BoostedBenzI looked graph and actually it made about 170hp/305nm from crank, 145hp/259nm from wheels.(10-14-2016, 12:00 PM)erx Nice!
