Almost done. All I have to do is sort out the exhaust and get the right size hose for the oil drain. As you can see this would be a drop in for a 602.
My t3/t25 adapter and the silly U tube:
On the bottom I have 4x10mm socket caps counter sunk and ground flat. On the top I have 2x8mm socket caps per side. One is missing because I managed to break off the tap into the adapter on the missing hole. I tried to drill it out without any success (too hard). If I were to do this adapter again, I would use 1x8mm socket caps on each side and then 1x6mm socket cap on top and bottom. I also used a bit that was too larger on the 10mm socket caps, I would use a smaller (1/2"?) bit and just grind the cap thinner like I did on the 8mm socket caps. This was the first time I have ever drilled into any kind of serious metal, I think it came out quite well.
As you can see the compressor outlet aligns quite nicely with the stock cross over tube. All I had to do was grind down the mount bolt on the crossover tube to make it round.
I had the stock mb oil line modified to fit the stock holeset oil line by these guys http://www.hydraulic-supply.com/html/loc...bleton.htm. They charged a nominal $20 to flare the metric tube to fit the standard sized adapter and braze the end on. Really the value in this job was the comedy show these guys put on, they are like an old married couple and had me crying I was laughing so hard. I did take the line to 2 other places first that refused to do it because it was metric. These guys rock and are really down with the racing mod spirit.
