The turbos were garrett gt1749v and a garrett gt2052s from a mercedes benzBig Grin But this configuration doesn't work very well i think it was bacause of gt20 doesn't be vgt.

I wanna make it trubo compound o and i want to reach about 3bar of boost
questions?
1) what you think about compound a gt1544v with a holset hx35vgt? should this work?
2) what you think about a twintrubo setup with 2 gt1544v(no compound)?

Thanks for your help

The turbos are too close together in size. The LP compound needs to be something around a GT2256 or GT2359

Thats the opposite problem of what you have now.

Quote:2) what you think about a twintrubo setup with 2 gt1544v(no compound)?
Parallel turbos are pointless on inline engines, especially just 4 cylinders.

Thank you for the answer so you think that a compound comfiguration of a gt1544v and a gt2252v(alfaromeo one) should work?
what i whant is to maintain low end torque my gt1544v it starts to pull around 1400 up to 3000 then dieCool and i for high rpm the gt2252v to maintain the power up to aprox 5000 rpm.

Are you from Mesa? I'm here making flight houras at falcon airfield, my car is a peugeot 207 but it is in portugal. Do you know any place here were we can buy a gt2252 or gt2359v at good price ore used?
In Portugal this turbos are extremelly expensives and is why i asked if a holset hx35vgt would work because of the price you can find oneBig Grin
thnks for all the answersWink

Those are not common turbos in the USA but down on broadway and like 14th ave down in Phoenix is a line of junkyards a mile long that would be your best shot in Phoenix area.

If I we're you though I would search online and find one you would probably have a easier time.

This was the last dyno in a maha with problems in the clutch and just remap(made by me) and bigger IC and stock turbo gt1544v and straight exhaust i could put a little more power but at this configuration it doesn't smokes I think i can pull 150hp
[Image: 31102009576.jpg]
with biturbo i never test it but it was not really good at all it only ad low power lol

What happened to the "290bhp" ?

With a better breathing turbo you're still no hitting the same result as with a std. remapped engine, also the torque is pretty low.
And what goes on with that boostspike?

Lol that map i post here has almost a year you can see by the date lol.
If you think it's bad try to push that power from a car like mine that stock only gived 90 hp(+/-) and without smoke the youtube video with smoke was a funny test lol.
In that dyno the car only had a bigger intercooler and remmap(by me ) i had straight exhaust but with catalizator and fap and that peak was because of the clutch that was new and sometimes sliped and IT NOT SMOKES you think that for a stock car with fap catalizador and only exhaust muffler removed almost 320NM(not lbft) is bad torqueConfused.
Pleas show me those cars like mine and with the same stuff give more power.
In rellation to lost power you have reason i don't know what is happening if it is low pressure on the tires or transmission loss but i have to figure it out.

Yes the car with the biturbo pictures and setup i post here never work well in low power and was never tested but with the new setup( i will not tell what) it has worked so welll Big GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin
I have asked here some question just to see what these people said and what they think about a biturbo of to equal turbos but for the responses i have understanded that here is many people that understand about biturbo setup here.
