Anyone running 17's? I should be getting a MB TD soon and I want to make it look expensive(lol). Im going to put 17" Mercedes wheels on it with 205/50R17 on them, its just barely taller than stock. The car wont be lowered(already too low). Lets see some pics!

Here's the list Im looking at

http://www.powerwheelspro.com/shop/index.php?cPath=23

Also, are the 80's MB's 12mm or 14mm?

You should have no problem running that size tire, on the wagon I run 19s with 285/35R19 rear and 255/35R19 front. No modifications required to run that size tire and the front is lowered.

Are you asking about the bolt pattern?

Thanks, do you have pics? I was asking about the lug bolt size, is it 12mm or 14mm? Also, I know the bp is 5x112mm.

CLS class wheels for the 18s, this set does not require wheel spacers to clear the bearing caps. Most E class wheels you need spacers up front for center caps to clear.
The 19s are just amg knock offs from tire rack, cheap cost cheap wheel (you get what you pay for)

I would however be concerned about a significant decrease in ride quality. I know at least one of you is running 19s on a wagon. Is the ride noticeably jarring now?

The only thing I have to complain about is since the front tires are so wide they want to follow any contours in the road. But even that is very slight, especially after I went with a smaller steering wheel. The 18s have a bit softer of a ride though.

And this doesn't throw off suspension geometry significantly??
