He asked me to ask around. He is asking $1000.
Year unknown. Mileage unknown, the odometer was rolled to 0 who knows when and has shown 14 miles every time I've looked at it. Repainted, paint peeling on the trunk. Interior 4/10. No visible rust, but unknown if bodywork was done before repaint. Engine sounds okay but he says its hard to start in winter. The guy has balls to leave his doors unlocked all the time.

looks pretty nice, is this the one that was cruising by your cars at one point and checking them out?

Thats a really unusual paint job on the bumper ends, very interesting approach.

I always leave my doors unlocked. Windows aren't cheap. I used to work downtown and once I walked past a Ford Explorer with a sticky in the window that said "Come on in, the door is unlocked."

Same here, theres usually nothing of value in my car, along with a gutted interior, so i think no body is gonna break in. I just leave her unlocked with rolled up tinted windows.

I agree with you guys--to a degree.

But... I have a friend who lives down the road (actually river) from Graterford Prison in PA (where Charles Manson is/was).
Anyways she is going out to her car on the way to work one fine morning and saw someone sleeping in her car. Well this person was wearing striped pajamas so..
She goes inside and tells her husband. Who told her to stay inside and call the police. He then got his shotgun and proceeded to wait by the car until the cops showed up.
Nothing happened but I'm sure that woke them up if they were still sleepy....
And admittedly a locked car probably wouldn't stop an escapee but at least you'd know from a further distance away something was amiss as opposed to nearly being to the door before you found an unwelcome companion....

he just left it in your lot illegally? or was it a junkyard tow? I wonder where it went, probably pick it up at police auction for 200 bucks now if the cops took it

Management must have towed it, the owner didn't even know what was happening.
