So, I got this free 4-stroke lawnmower. I thought the lady who gave it away had 2 problems.
1- the fuel line from the tank would leak out all the fuel.
2- she had put 2 stroke gas/oil mix in the crankcase (so I thought)

I have gotten it running alright but, is it possible for a lot of gasoline to leak into the crankcase? It seems like the oil level is changing all the time and that maybe gas is getting in there.

I really don't want to buy a new mower cause they are like $175
Had to fight for like 20 min to get this beast started yesterday.

ran the mower for like 6 hrs so far, I can't believe that it would keep going so long if the oil was getting thinned with gasoline.

I bet that works in sweden, your grass probably only grows for 2 months anyhow Wink
I use this 4 stroke self propelled junker to cut a friends lawn and get paid. I bet there is over an acre of hilly terrain. Electric or manual mowers couldn't cut it.
I have been looking into second hand gas powered reel mowers for my new yard.
