Enough rambling on.
The car is a april build 1984 300D turbo. Silver blue metallic, on navy blue tex.
So far I've replaced the fender, hood, had the front end professionally straightened, got it running nicely, fixed a exhaust leak, fixed a boost leak, disabled EGR and switchover valve, replaced fuel filters, installed boost gauge, replaced the original becker with a new kenwood, installed a 12in polk audio sub in a sealed box, installed euro tails, euro low spec headlights, depo clear corners spray tinted with nite shade, new grille insert, disabled the door locks, disabled the factory alarm, and oh yeah the front end got resprayed.
Next up will hopefully be
0. Tweak my extra MW-pump from old part car
1. New shocks
2. mild drop
3. 16 inch CLK's
4. frenched hella 500's
5. 4300k mexi hid kit for the H4's
6. 3000k mexi hid kit for the h3's
7. 5 speed swap
8. sell and buy a e39 bmw

06-05-2011, 11:54 PM #1Bought the car in march after sitting for 18-24 months (owner forgot). I bugged the owner and her sisters for almost a year, till she finally agreed to sell it to me. $500 bucks, a tow strap, and a 1/2 ton pickup later it was in my driveway, I only lived like 1 mile away so I risked it. I drove the truck, as my dad sat in the benz, he got bored while slowing down for a stop sign, and decided to roll start it... Well it worked. Holy smoke batman, it was like a container ship with a blown turbo ha.
Enough rambling on.

Here it was, before I fixed the boost issue.
Oh yeah I removed the rear muffler (the source of the exhaust leak), but it's still to quiet, therefore its going in to have the center muffler professionally removed.

I opted for the driving light pattern to fill in my euro H4 highbeams. I'm thinking 55 watt 4300k xenon's for the driving lights in the future.

I love my w123 with a 3" straight pipe. But i do not do hardly any highway driving with it either

My low spec foglights have frenched reflectors, as well as W124 bulb caps, so I went with 4500k to make that into a crisp yellow instead of like a brown yellow if I did yellow plus yellow plus yellow...
Anyway... moral of the story is anything over 5000k is pure hongda fried rice, and you lose lumens.

My friend commented that it rode rougher that his B7 Audi A4 S-Line. I think it's time for a Sport badge. hahaha. Next up will be bigger rear spacers, moar low, and my TDT sway bar.
