If you run the straight pipe all the way to the rear of the car it will quiet down the car about 50% inside at least!

Cut the down pipe so it points at the ground or kinda towards the rear of car a tad. If its long enough to run parallel with the ground under the car it drowns (resonates) real bad... Thats my experience anyway..
