11-14-2009, 11:43 PM #4It definitely delivers the 'modern Euro' look in spades, and the cool thing is that it peels off if you want to switch back. Can't see a downside - try it, if you don't like it, you just gotta spend an afternoon peeling it back off (better than stripping, sanding, or buying replacement parts, though).

Suzuki Samurai: VW 1.9L TD, Trackick doubler transfer case (made by me) 5.8:1 transfer case gears, YJ springs front and rear with rear missing links, wheel base extended 14", diffs welded, some day a VNT.

11-16-2009, 05:53 PM #10I painted the rims about two months ago, it was a really quick job. So far they have held up, but a bump against the plasti-dip will tear it. I just did as a test, but so far so good.
