The NA rods are weaker. I don't think you'd get 350 from a 4 cylinder without breaking something.

Yeah, I thought that but there aren't any turbocharged pistons for that engine? Whatever,it's some idea of cheap project for start to gain some new skills Tongue I prefer om602 turbo engine in w124 chasis Smile

You might be able to upgrade to turbo 605/606 ones, not sure whether they'd fit. The 2.2 seems to be bored and/or stroked out no?

Or you can just stay around 250 or something without changing them.

You'd have trouble getting 350 from a 602 as well. A little over 300 I think, if it were a turbo 602 to begin with. Don't know about NA 602 or how different they are.

O, not NA 602 , i meant turbo diesel 2.5 . But im still fan of the om605 and 606 and im familiar with those engines , and mostly petrol engines but I don't know much about the strength of that 604 engine, but a friend of mine offered me a E220 NA 604 engine , the car is for very reasonable money and in very good shape so I decided to ask in the favorite forum... Hm so my plans are for something in the middle of drag racer and daily driver...something like street racer.. I also think that 604 engine can't handle more than 250-270 hp without blown.. Ok , so thats for now , thank you for replies , wait for my new topic when my project become in stage of realizing it Smile
