The part number for the pump is 0 400 075 918, using this http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?...640.0;wap2 suggests the elements are 7mm. Surely that cant be right can it? Go easy on me its my first post. Can't find this out anywhere.

Can't find this out anywhere.5.5mm ,i fit them to 605a motors for g wagens, we have them fitted with the 6mm elements from the 605a's electric pump body and turned 'up' by an excellent firm near southampton uk. please pm me for their contact details . the pump is rated at about 120hp in a musso having the 5.5 maxxed and back a touch you get about 150 ish ,we have done this to a friends g wagen with a 662a engine and it really goes well ,100 mph workhorse he calls it!
