So I am thinking about turbos for my car, because my little stock charger is starting to get some excessive play in it.

I ran across a good deal on a he221 and was wondering what yall think about running one. I believe they have a T25 flange, which would probably be a pain, but is doable.

These chargers are similiar to a hx27 i believe. Is it too small?

It's exactly the same as the hx27, however it has a billet aluminum compressor wheel. It's an excellent turbo if you're keeping the stock pump

1984 300D 4-speed ~200,000 miles
7.5mm M-pump, GT3582 turbo, F-Tune Performance intake/exhaust manifolds, A/A intercooler, 315 nozzles, Enlarged prechambers, Bosch 044 feed pump, Custom lightweight flywheel with 240mm clutch, Lowered, 17" AMG rims - 300 hp OM617 project
1985 300D 280,000 miles RIP
2001 F350 7.3 DP tuner, 4"exhaust, S&B intake

yeah, I am not planning on doing a myna pump or anything, just a turned up stock pump.

How hard do you think it will be to adapt it to my manifold?

The adaptor is cake. The more difficult part is the oil feed and drain and connecting it to the intake manifold. But even those aren't that hard.

After looking into it I agree. I have a W115 intake for my car also, so a couple silicone boots and maybe a little pipe,it should be golden.

Hopefully I score this turbo, that would be sweet Cool

I am going to mount one of these with 6cm exhaust housing and billet compwheel on a isuzu 3.1TD 4 cyl engine and 11mm ve-pumpBig Grin
The billet compwheel is made to run at 2.8bars on the engine it was original mounted on!
