holset he221
So I am thinking about turbos for my car, because my little stock charger is starting to get some excessive play in it.
I ran across a good deal on a he221 and was wondering what yall think about running one. I believe they have a T25 flange, which would probably be a pain, but is doable.
These chargers are similiar to a hx27 i believe. Is it too small?
It's exactly the same as the hx27, however it has a billet aluminum compressor wheel. It's an excellent turbo if you're keeping the stock pump

This should have the info you need to know for the he221. From the 2.5 to the T3 doesn’t seem that hard.

The adaptor is cake. The more difficult part is the oil feed and drain and connecting it to the intake manifold. But even those aren't that hard.

Son of a B****
The bidding ended sooner than I thought and someone got for $5 more than my bid. I am not very happy
Ah shit, I was hoping you were the high bidder. Gotta put the max bid higher next time.
Really sucks man that was a great deal for someone
I am going to mount one of these with 6cm exhaust housing and billet compwheel on a isuzu 3.1TD 4 cyl engine and 11mm ve-pump
The billet compwheel is made to run at 2.8bars on the engine it was original mounted on!
Yeah I know it. I thought it ended during my lunch break, but ended sooner than I thought, oh well shit happens.
And that sounds cool!
There's another one on ebay right now, brand new, buy it now is 400.

I just mounted one of these HE221W with billet wheel and 7cm housing on my BMW 318TDS (1665ccm IDI diesel engine), And have full boost at 3100rpm! Works really great, and this is a really good quality turbo
