There's much more info on turbos. I think the consensus is that the Holset line, 40 and higher is the way to go. But what about superchargers? Much less info.

I'll be starting my STD project by purchasing parts, but I don't have much reference for superchargers for the 606.692. Here are some ideas:

-Supercharger off the Crossfire or SLK32/C32?
-E55/S55/Sl55 supercharger
-GM supercharger off an Impala, Buick
-Eaton MP90--what model car did these come on?

Of course, the idea is to get one for $400 or less, and that seems possible with the SLK32 superchargers.

The m90 would have come off 99+ GM 3800 in Pontiac's, Buick's, and Chevy's. Pre 99's would be a smaller m62 supercharger. I have one of each just not shur what I'm gonna do with them. I've heard the m90 was on some thunderbird v6's with an intercooler. Oh but an mp90. Not shur if it was used on a production car.

That's good to know. It looks like a supercharger off a Buick Regal is about $300. Not bad.

Find a m90 supercharger from a ford thunderbird super coupe. Those style chargers are flipped around and use a top plate to feed the air into an intercooler. That makes it a bit easier when it comes down to fabrication as you wouldn't need to make an adapter to get the charged air out of it as you would with a s/c from a GM 3800.

I'll watch my junkyard for these since they charge $50 for a super or turbo charger

There were 2 different setups from Ford; one was a 3.8 v6, and the other was a 5.0 v8. I would think there might be a difference between the 2 blowers, but not sure. Just so you know both were called "Supercoupe".

i would assume that you would need significant IP upgrades to make this worth it, right?

i havent seen many super turbos, i would assume that the turbo feeds into the supercharger? does anyone know of a build thread or anything of someone doing this?

There are some threads on here that discuss this. And there's lots of debate on what flows where and how and when. I just decided to simplify things and use the best turbo, radiotor, intercooler, etc. I can find. The superchargers sound weird.
