had an opportunity to drive this monster. Love the shifting paddle with memory for I think 3 or 4 up or down shifts and the omnidirectional dump box.

Sweet. They'd have to pry the steering wheel from my hands. Smile

Did the box dump towards the cab? Rolleyes

theoretically yes. It had a central ram and 4 locking pins on the corners. It could dump to either side or the back by disengaging any two locking pins. You could do the same for the front. Maybe if you wanted to turn the bed into a airfoil for high speed? Smile

I think it was a straight 6 CRD and some insane manual transmission with a crazy paddle shifter and LOTs of gears. Im sorry i can't be more exact, it was a couple of years ago I bombed around it it. Probably the info is somewhere on the web.

I can´t recognize it if an U300 or an U400 - An U300 have a supercharged 4-cylinder Engine, the U400 has 6. I only have a U300 with a partially automated transmission, the U400 has a full automated "manual" transmission. Domes and turn makes it independent.
