its a shame, really, not a dent on the body and paint was almost perfect, but no one wanted it.

after i took the motor out of it to swap into my jeep i figured i could start on the crushing since the scrapper was picking it up the next day

I had a w116 that I drove for a year, perfect interior & body. Pulled the engine & transmission, sent it to the scrapper. Every piece of rubber was worn out to the point of it being completely undriveable, I never really liked the big sedans personally but it was a nice driver. No one would buy it for what I considered to be worth, which wasn't much. Clean title, it was a shame.

Yeah I'm in the same boat, clean title and everything. Seems like its just east coast guys and people that have to deal with rust that are interested. Sure was fun doing a monster truck show though
