Hey,

I need to get rid of this but I have no idea where to start?

I know some of you guys are into grease so maybe i would start here.

its a two tank system with three filters and a pump and will also come with a big 150 gal backup tank. Also has a heating band

if you or anyone is interested give me a call. I need to get rid of this.

here are some pictures to get the discussion started. If i cant sell it my pops wants to destroy it and throw it out. so maybe I can give it a new home somewhere.

If I was in NY I would have bought all the components. That is a good set up to start with. Barrels are easy to come by, so I would suggest disassembling and cleaning everything to present it. (given nobody is interested in the whole set up) My reasoning is that we all have our own ideas of where to plumb and the order of which we filter. I would love to see on craigslist one day a bunch of 3/4 gal pipe and fittings.

BTW that band heater is boss.

if it don’t blow black...take it back.

thanks for the input. I will have to drain the tanks and clean them up. we are redoing the lower half of the house into an apartment so the garage is a little cluttered. once we are done with that we were going to redo the garage into a nice work space.

I can always get new barrels not a problem the dirty barrel has a little reservoir on the bottom where water and junk collect and you can drain it out.

as far as the band goes, I think my dad got it for like 150, heats up to about 400 degrees Fahrenheit and really got the oil nice and hot.

Yeah...I know. I’ve got one as well. My set up is very similar.
