I am looking for some US spec headlight bezels for a family members 1985 300SD. As I understand these parts changed sometime around 1986 because he found many of those "new" but unable to find any for the 1985.

Yes, there were many changes for the S-Class in 1986.

05-24-2013, 12:54 AM #2I have a set of later w126 housings, including wipers and wiper bezels that you can have for a reasonable offer plus shipping... I thought I was grabbing a set for my w124, but didn't realize they were wrong until I got home (only had that car for a few days) . Anyway, they're in decent shape and I can post some pics if you want. Otherwise they'll likely end up on ebay in a week or three...
