Once you install the 603 pump on the 606, is there a place to bolt the cruise control servo from the 603 motor?

I have been told you also have to swap the om603 oil filter housing or space the 606 oil filter housing out 20mm but that is hear say from another w126 owner that did a 606.962 swap in a 350sdl I have a 300sdl and have not gotten that far yet.

Thanks for the info. I just cracked my 14 head and I'm turning over installing my 21 head or installing a 606 motor.

I've since answered my own question re:cruise. The '95 W124 w/NA 606 had mechanical cruise, so I should be fine there.

I guess the big one is, if I can reliably meet my power goals with a 603, why bother replacing it with a 606?

No problem with a 603. Sorry for ruining your thread, but does anyone know if the cruisecontrol works if you swap the 722.4 gearbox for the 722.3 gearbox?

As long as you retain the speedo cable, I can't imagine any problems.
