24R is the order of the fivespeed with OD i think
whilst the buss/vans/trucks with 1:1 in fifth.

i might be wrong, but that is how i remember it, know people here in sweden that sells w123 fivespeeds with 1:1 in fifth after a closer look.

01-21-2014, 04:42 AM #2warning that might not matter, but not al fivespeeds for om617 has a overdrive, the one comming from busses/vans just have a lower first gear, and 1:1 in fifth, easy to solve by changing rearend to something higher geared, but yeah, look into that.

The camper/van/GWagen trannies have straight-cut, unsynchronized first gears. I started a long thread on this idea last year.
