So I'm gathering everything for a superturbo diesel. I have an 84 190 5speed I want to swap into my clean 87 300d om603. What should I kno befor I do the swap? Drive shaft, mounting, clutch.. ect.. Thanks

The only real difference is that you'll be using a single mass flywheel. Its all still bolts up.

Thanks man ill have to study up on that.. how long will this tranny last untill I blow it up? Luckily I have two so I can switch one and rebuild the other.

I don't know, I guess that depends on how badly you abuse it. Mine has 13k happy miles behind the OM603 plus 200k miles behind the M103 before that.

Whats the part number on the trans? There is a list of torque limits of the diff trans somewhere. I probably should dig that up. I have a .411 and its held up so far.

Whats the part number on the trans? There is a list of torque limits of the diff trans somewhere. I probably should dig that up. I have a .411 and its held up so far.
