Valve Spring 606and 605
I was wondering the what the size of the pocket in hydraulic lifter on the 606/5 motor? I have found a couple different spring companies and there top of their springs vary from 1 inch to .940 of a inch. The Ford 4.6 beehive spring works. I also found there is a Ford motorsport spring from the 2012 Boss 302 motor that fits and is fairly cheap just need to find retainers.
If I remember correctly the BlackSmokeRacing guys used modified Mitsubishi Lancer springs. Idk how modified of course.

i used compcames ford modular springs and modified some spring seats to fit

I sifted through my scrap parts to find one lifter in the bottom of the box. So the inside dia. is 1.20 so I got a good deal on 24 ford beehive springs, retainers, and locaters. I will only be using 12 and will be willing to split the price if someone wants the other 12 for there project.
