I too would like to know if this will be a problem on my 605, Back pressure might be too much and high egts

I have stock manifold with hx40/35 and I get 45psi back pressure checked at #4 runner near head. Max boost I can get is maybe 30psi. Would love more boost but just won't happen with stocker and is why I am trying to find someone to build a new manifold

There are a lot of advantages to go with a proper exhaust manifold. Like spool for one but also the life span of the engine. As TurboTim states here he has a high back pressure reading on one cylinder and that is what causes engine failures. You want all cylinders to be equally hot or cold. Now that's an intake manifold issue to off course but a stock exhaust manifold is just not up for the task of even getting the maximum out of the stock turbo.

If you are looking at the cheapest option you should go with a home made. We are more expensive then that KKD price you've got.

I know. But it does not look very easy to make on my self. Are there any private persons who do this? Or have a complete kit to sell?

does this looks Nice? [Image: maxresdefault.jpg]

Building yourself is not that hard, look at a lot of pictures and take your time. Spot weld it with the MIG if you don't master the TIG and then go to the local welders and let them TIG-weld it for you.

You can buy our billet flanges or a cheap 10mm flange from kl-racing or similar Chinese store. The mandrels I'm sure you can source locally. Good luck.
