Just putting a feeler out there -- considering offering someone a trade that would net me a well-running but rusty 1987 300TD whose drivetrain I could swap into the 'SD, so I'm trying to figure out what it would cost for me to get the W126-specific parts. I think I would at least need the engine mount arms (any W126 with the OM603 or M103 will do), front driveshaft section or complete driveshaft (350SD/300SE), transmission crossmember (will take anything, I can always mod it), and exhaust header (300SDL/350SD).
Did I leave anything else off the list?. LMK.
