Hi guys!

I'm searching for a tiptronic type shifter to work with my controller.  Not sure I want the paddle shifter.

Any one made a shifter or used an existing one and modified it?

My conversion is going into my Land Rover..... I'm going to be making my own shifter from the original land rover manual shifter to make it look stock from the outside. Plan is to add a shift lock type mechanism and have a section of the travel that I can use as a sequential shifter.

You could try using 2000-2002 W210 shifter. Some mods are needed since it uses CAN-BUS stock.

I have used bmw steptronic gearstick in previous 123 and this current w124 too. It has very nice tiptronic side (mackan middle video is with bmw shifter too).

Like this
[Image: %24_1.JPG]

So anything from e60/e90 and so on works. They are easy to modify to work, need to remove one resistor from the circuit board to get the manual side to work with Ole controller. Now when i put the stick to manual side Ole's controller also goes straight to manual side (also changes from "w" to "s" so I have different setups for automatic and manual side). Works nice.

I made this kind of bracket to transmission side
[Image: _medium.jpg]

Fits nicely inside w124 original console, just need to make custom leather gaiter for it (which I havent done yet)

Nice! Im actually going to the scraper tomorrow to remov a steptronic shifter from an E39 BMW. I will try to slim it so I can keep the original shifter. And only use the steptroinc part of the bmw shifter.

See how It goes tomorrow!

Thanks for the info!
