648 uses a GT23V electronic vane control... i belive i too small for a 606 project.
anyhow the compressor is 48 /60mm about the k14 i dont know wouldn´t be surprised of same compressor , they look very alike . turbine don´t have a clue.

If Baldurs' ecu would control it, the OM648 turbo would probably be much better on fuel economy given the variable vane turbo. Does it have the same triangular mount as the 606? I might consider one on my conversion since I'm using his ecu and the e-pump. Maybe Baldur will chime.

It has a triangular mount but a little different port design then the 606. I am trying to come up with a little bigger turbo then the 606 to get around 225+ HP with my 603 pump with 606 6mm elements. My pump builder says there is a lot more fueling available in the pump and I have the dieselmeken external Alda kit.

I wonder if there is a way to operate the vanes with a actuator instead of a computer? I am trying to stay away from the Holset HY34w because of the size.

Has your pump builder messed with modding the 606 e-pump? Is Dieselmeken the only one who does? Would be nice to have someone in the states who does.
