190E 16V Getrag (275) Bellhousing is not removable.

BMW/Jaguar/Opel Getrag (265 both close ratio and overdrive) bellhousings are removable.

(08-19-2016, 09:52 PM)EmJay Curious, what are you attempting to do?

I would like to put a Getrag 265/6 behind an OM606, but since the BMW bellhousing is different, will need the Cosworth bellhousing

Is part number 0002601411 not a bellhousing?

Can someone else confirm that the Cosworth Getrag 265 does not have a removable bellhousing?

Is seems odd that all the other Getrag 265 applications would use a removal bellhousing, except Mercedes?

Common misconception that the 16v trans is a 265. It's a 275.[Image: 10556221_10152613106960498_3873700170010...e=5844568C]

Well that photo seems fairly definitive to me!!

Isn't that something, how everybody talks about the 190E Cosworth having the close ratio Getrag 265 (i.e. Getrag 265/5), when it actually has something totally different!

Thanks for clarifying!

OM617 has different bell housing. Starter is other side of engine. Not left side but right side. You can`t use with OM606.
