Hi.
Many ppl said that it was not able to be done. But here is the recepie and videos of running engine.

Vids:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_dixWIGHbA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5jERN31ABA

Recepie: om602 2,9 crank and rods (witch is stronger then om605 turbo pistons), modified om605 turbo pistons (made it with a dremel). Runs like a charm. Been on the track two times already.

RPM Limit: 6500rpm (pulls nice all the way up there) maybe thinking of trying 6900rpm.

Boost: around 2,5bar +- (no WG)

Hehe,
Congrats mine is still on stand ... but is already waiting to go in car... next month... inchala.
How did u solved the cylinder skirt issue?
Question, why the EDC? 8 mil?
What turbo is that?

Do you mean piston skirt? Had no problems with cylinders.

EDC more rackcontroll and more power higher up in rpm and hard revlimit. Can change revlimit in seconds.
Its like a gascar now. Pulls all the way to revlimit and cut hard there. Not like mechanical pump that was like a flatspot after 5500rpm and never wanted to go past 5800rpm. Tryed different pumps. Could also be the bigger housing. But i could feel the differense up there with 6mm element also. Could also be that i raised fuel pressure from 0,5 to 1,5.
7,5 was because EDC pump wont benefit from 8mm element.

Turbo is in my signature. Wink

Not piston skirt...
I had the idea of using 605 block bored to 89, but found out the cylinder well was not deep enough, with the D29 crank a 605 piston will exit of cylinder well untill pin plane level , wich is a recepy for problems . Or not.
So i decided to use a 602.980 block modified to house a M pump and a 4 valve head.
I'm glad it worked out for u.
How come u can't past 6k with a mech pump? Is not that difficult, it can even run past 8 or 9k at full output....
Thing with EDC's is the available rack distance... magnet can only drive efective 13mm with idle set around 5.
Wich makes the max output around 140 for a 7.5mm.
Nevertheless i have been fighting along with somebody the 8 mil and 14mm efective rack... 180cc hehe
Bad results .... engine jerks a litle....
Now u must show numbers, and the smoke hehe....

I wanted the MLS headgasket. Thats why i chose original bore.

Dont know. Tryed 7,5mm Dieselmeken and 8mm Pekka Herlevi and different fuel supply, 7000rpm limit and on 3rd gear when i drift it never went beyond 5900rpm. To small exausthousing (0.82 A/R)? Have bigger now (1.06 A/R) after stroking.
Now it hit 6500rpm hard as soon wheels starts spinning.

I was worried about that but after looking at other stroker engine i tought i was on the safe side.

I have 160cc out of my 7,5mm pump. I said 450hk to Dieselmeken and he 160cc is okay for you and thats what it say on my certificate.  Angel
