It seems with the Om 603 I.P. with the Om 606 6mm elements installed and set at 606 stock specs, I always seem to have excess black smoke on hard acceleration on all the conversions I do.

I am wondering if I need to back off the alda to compensate for the extra fueling with the 606 elements in the 603 I.P. Also wonder if I need a check valve in the pressure line coming from the intake to delay the pressure some. I have plenty of power on the upper end but more smoke then I care to have. Any input on this?
