No problem. I've just decided to get a legit heat exchanger, they're only about $150

RE: ForcedInduction's Air-Water intercooler - mikes02ls1 - 08-22-2013

If you lose the front grill it can go in front of the condenser

Isn't that what's going on with the Bastard Coupe?

RE: ForcedInduction's Air-Water intercooler - lgreeley83 - 08-24-2013

He has it in front of everything, I am imagining it acting as the grill...cut the center of the grill out filling the void with intercooler. Flush with what the original grill would have been.

Hey I only cut 3/4 of the grill out... i wanted to leave a little. i was gonna try n run it in front, but that made opening a problem and i would have had to lower and angle the intercooler more then i wanted too... i said screw it cut the b*tch! i was a mini trucker for many years, our grinder sawzall and torch are our best friends! i guess you could say my bastard coupe is what happens when a guy who has owned too many all-trac turbo celicas and bagged minis gets his hands on too many turbo diesel benzs... i was really just trying to piss off some purists and some honda owners... well the purists are jumping up and down and screaming like organ grinder monkeysBig Grin, havent pissed off any honda owners YET...

RE: ForcedInduction's Air-Water intercooler - Hario' - 09-29-2013

I am in the process of fitting a large front mounted intercooler to my W210.

The IC was OEM fitment from a Mitsubishi evo 6, 2.5" fittings (same as merc) and 3" core as well as 3x size of OEM Mercedes, fits perfectly if you delete AC condenser.

I can add pictures if anyone's interested.
