RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 04-11-2013 Hmm, and sudenly bye bye 5 speed transmission RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 04-23-2013 long time no see... I've changed the 5 speed, to another 5 Speed tranny, soon it will be a BMW ZF tranny, and Audi S4 diff and drive shaft's. and harder clutch and some other changes ;p Someone know how a Garrett TA51 work's? it's a AR 1.15 exhaust housing. RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 04-25-2013 So, a small update, and a little peak of How my engine bay is looking ATM: RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - upsie - 04-26-2013 Looks good! But is It good to run your Oil supply house like that? I am always told to minimize the down force on your Oil Supply . Sorry my English is not that good, RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 04-26-2013 It has not been a problem since I mounted it, no leakaged or anything RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - upsie - 04-26-2013 Alright then RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - raysorenson - 04-26-2013 A diff from which Audi S4? The only O.E. LSD that I know of came in the B8 chassis sport diff and that's electronic. The aftermarket LSD stuff for teh Audi's is P-car expensive. What kind of gear ratio will you end up with? RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 04-29-2013 It's from a 1994 Audi S4 2,2TQ with vacum diff, and it's not an LSD, it's with gears grabbing and making it a 100% diff lock when you wan't it to, I dont know gear ratio, but I really don't care anyway :p RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - HaavardPYA - 04-29-2013 How do you control vacuum to the diff? On/off switch or engaging when you spin? RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 04-29-2013 I will use a magnetic solonoid, with an on/off Switch And today, my w123 300d diff just Said god night ;p RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 05-13-2013 Hey again Some small adjustments have been done, Twin entry fuel along with zf tranny Zinter plate and ridicules strong pressure Plate ;p Some photos, steel just phone photos ;p Home made clutch leaver: Lamel and pressure plate: Sentering : In the machinig stage: Pressure plate, wierd alloey:o : Over view: Took the engine out, ment to move it back, But did'nt have time to do it :o Soon you'll gett a movie too RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 05-30-2013 so, as we all know, If you got a little power, you want more, so I want more :p so It's going to be a herlevi 8mm pump trough the summer, but not att this time, but you know when it's inn RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Simpler=Better - 05-30-2013 Glad to hear it Good thing you're waiting, it's better to drive than have the car constantly down for repairs RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - HaavardPYA - 05-30-2013 Looking forward to it! RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 06-03-2013 hope it will work good then :p RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 06-19-2013 Hi guy's.. what's the american bolt pattern on mercs?? 5x112mm but what is it in inch? 5-3/4? I want new rims :p RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - gaiex - 08-26-2013 Hi, good to see another good project Do you have any pictures of the engine with the engine mounts? You saied that you drilled new holes but where specificaly? I'm asking this because I'm doing an OM606 install in a w115, and for now the only problem is the engine mounts of the W124 wont align, and I'm thinking to fabricate the engine mounts! RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - MFSuper90 - 08-27-2013 (06-19-2013, 02:48 AM)Ksteen2 Hi guy's.. 5x4.5 is the closest thing to 5x112. But 5x4.5 is actually like 5x114.7 Some people say you can use "wobble" bolts and make them work RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Simpler=Better - 08-27-2013 (08-27-2013, 04:18 PM)MFSuper90(06-19-2013, 02:48 AM)Ksteen2 Hi guy's.. I ran 5x4.5 mustang rims on my 300d and I'm still alive. Towing heavy loads, driving spiritedly, etc. The bolt holes were big enough to make up for it. I just had to go in a circle tightening the lugs down, so that the wheel was centered properly. Had to use tapered-seat bolts instead of the stock ball-seat bolts. If you're paranoid wobble bolts would probably be safer. 2.7mm diameter= roughly 1.3mm offset on any one bolt. That's really small. RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 08-28-2013 (08-26-2013, 07:10 PM)gaiex Hi, good to see another good project I used that in the first place, but I made another engine mounts now. original W124 with couchen on the right side of the enine, just used the big hole in the frame, and made another of steel on the other side but i will soon make a sett of spesial once, so i can get the engine longer back RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 04-05-2014 so, haven't happend much lately. order a pump from Matti herlevi on 260cc and 7000rpm.. and got the hang of a rear axle of a S380 v8, so it will be a v8 rear axle and I hope to get about 600hp and 1000nm att the rear wheels. I hope to pas that nmbr! soon be some pics of it with kompressor and such will run about 3-3,5 bar of boost RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - john - 04-07-2014 did you sort out the propshaft and if so, how? RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Ksteen2 - 04-09-2014 witch part of the prop shaft? to the rear axle? RE: Ksteen's W123 daily driver - Hario' - 01-14-2015 News man? |
