Third time is the charm, no leaks at all now. Just tightened up the tstat housing some for the coolant. For the oil, I went back to the stock fitting and drain pipe. The drain pipe I chopped near the bottom, about 1" before it starts to flare out and put some rubber hose in to fill the gap. Works like a champ. Even though the pipe is only a compression fitting at the top, the rubber hose and oring hold it in place. Gonna drive it around this week and report back with pictures of the final product.

Good things come to those that wait. I think this is going to be a good summer for my STDs. I have been in the talks with Diesel Meken and am ready to pull my pump. I have a #22 head with 2.5 prechambers out and 3.5 more to go before its off to the shop. Seems the best way to do this labor wise is all at once. #22 head, 606hg, new chain, uprated pump, different turbo (getting a HX30W over the HY30W).

Finally got the prechambers pulled out, dropped off head at highly recommended Will's Machine Shop and it was cleaned, pressure tested and resurfaced in 2 hours. I honestly thought they were calling me to tell me bad news.

$140 for pressure test, cleaning, resurface. They also cleaned the pre chambers.

Me too, Waiting for it to be installed and tested out. Pump is 7,5mm,serie 1 element, 4 degrees later ignintion at low idle RS157-1 with ALDA, Adjusted to 65cc no boost -125cc 1,5bar boost @1500rpm,
Governor 6000rpm full load.
Low idle 650-700rpm
I think this will be enough for a nice 300hp daily drive car.

I can grab one at the yards. They pop up around every other month, except the problem is getting one and then getting stuck with it because the buyer either backs out or finds another source. They are about $50.00 without warranty at the yards.

Easiest way to handle this is send him $50 + a tip for pulling it, and once he's got one send him the $$ to ship it.

I can't wait...I have everything but a pump and my new 22 head installed. I do have an HX35 however so depending on how your install goes, I will get to decide whether to down it a size. I'm very interested in your plan for intercooling!

Winmutt, my special 603 guinea pig; a brave pioneer on the side of the ocean. I cannot wait to see your success! In addition to power, I Hope to see some better fuel mileage, though I doubt that will happen for several tanks into the project.
