I do not have access to CL right now to find the link but someone on the Houston one has a 6.9L motor for sale. Had some work done to it from what I recall. He had gotten it ready for a 6.9L project car but the car itself got ruined.

IMHO turbo is more economical...
The only reason would be for some "reliability", and not having to deal with turbos (which are expensive)

For $950 that seems too good to be true... and "Minor oil leak"... I would need a definition of minor lol... Where is it leaking? Either there is something wrong with it or they just need to sell it quick.
Probably worth checking out... I would like an SD if I had money for it and could find a deal on one in a color I could live with.

The add says it takes about a quart of oil a month, so that's not too major. My friend had a w126 420SEL and it was awesome, totally fell in love with the spaciousness of the interior of these cars after that

When I inquired about it, he said the interior is in fair condition and the exterior is also in fair condition with a couple of dents. Probably needs a new transmission. A good candidate for a 4 speed manual swap.
