Manual OM616 diesel guy says. Full camper setup looks like. The temptation is killing me, 45 minutes away. Winmutt- you need another camper (maybe not for 7500 bucks though) http://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/2865326602.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - sassparilla_kid - 03-21-2012 Anybody know if these rims will work with w126 rotor/caliper upgrades? The guy says they're from a 300E http://fresno.craigslist.org/pts/2914246666.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - serverman777 - 03-21-2012 What year 300E? RE: Craiglist alert thread - sassparilla_kid - 03-21-2012 I don't know, he just said 300E. Supposedly they're 15" so if they are I'm guessing they should work RE: Craiglist alert thread - aaa - 03-21-2012 The offset difference is pretty dramatic (bout 20mm). 300E is pretty specific, w124 basically. They're probably ET 40-something. RE: Craiglist alert thread - sassparilla_kid - 03-21-2012 It was an '87 300E, I bought them anyway. They're not going to be a huge problem are they?? RE: Craiglist alert thread - sassparilla_kid - 03-26-2012 This thing pops up on craigslist about once a week or so here, is it a kit car or something? 1924 Mercedes Gazzel http://fresno.craigslist.org/cto/2916261483.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - Got Poof - 04-15-2012 http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/ctd/2949380318.html And a 300TD http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto/2947150025.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - willbhere4u - 04-16-2012 compound turbo set up http://denver.craigslist.org/ptd/2957287131.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - sassparilla_kid - 04-25-2012 Ahhh if I only had moneys, and an extra turbodiesel engine to swap http://fresno.craigslist.org/cto/2977771047.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - larsalan - 05-06-2012 perfectly good 603/300d? indiana http://richmondin.craigslist.org/cto/2992899719.html says for parts, but then says it runs/drives? RE: Craiglist alert thread - DeliveryValve - 05-07-2012 (05-06-2012, 09:28 PM)larsalan perfectly good 603/300d? You need to buy that car! . Looks to have compound turbos. http://www.theturbodave.com/The_Build_page.php . RE: Craiglist alert thread - led-panzer - 05-07-2012 Oh yea, 400 hp on stock elements. And "no turbo lag" .... "Foot brake up to 25psi" , they're full of shit. But I would still like more info about it, and what turbo they used specifically. RE: Craiglist alert thread - w123love - 05-07-2012 If that guy ^ is really getting the power he claim, what is he doing that we aren’t?? This is huge in my opinion! Somebody really should get that car...a true STD. (05-07-2012, 12:24 PM)led-panzer Oh yea, 400 hp on stock elements. And "no turbo lag" .... "Foot brake up to 25psi" , they're full of shit. RE: Craiglist alert thread - led-panzer - 05-07-2012 Stock 5.5 mm elements do not move enough fuel for anything close to that. Period. I've had cut DV's before, and yea they give a lot of power, but not anything close to that. Period. I've had cut DV's before, and yea they give a lot of power, but not anything close to that. I'm not Forced, I don't care that much. It's just annoying what people will try and pull off on craigslist. I bet he gets 40 mpg too RE: Craiglist alert thread - JB3 - 05-07-2012 62 cabover van with MB turbo diesel in it. 13grand anyone? http://providence.craigslist.org/cto/2952581839.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - willbhere4u - 05-07-2012 I wonder witch late model engine it has in it? RE: Craiglist alert thread - JB3 - 05-07-2012 (05-07-2012, 02:27 PM)willbhere4u I wonder witch late model engine it has in it? im guessing an OM617. Total WAG, but the badging on the back is 123/126 era. Also for a guy who drives a classic truck, anything after 80 might be "late model" I emailed him, Im curious. RE: Craiglist alert thread - JB3 - 05-08-2012 (05-07-2012, 02:30 PM)dropnosky(05-07-2012, 02:27 PM)willbhere4u I wonder witch late model engine it has in it? His response- "Late model, 90s" That's all, from this we can gather that the guy knows nothing about the conversion, or probably the truck. Suddenly less interested. RE: Craiglist alert thread - Simpler=Better - 05-09-2012 I could do 25psi revving in neutral with my GT2056V, can't you? RE: Craiglist alert thread - sassparilla_kid - 05-10-2012 wtf model car are these from, or are they aftermarket? I've never seen any like them before. also I wonder what offset they are http://fresno.craigslist.org/pts/2973158420.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - winmutt - 05-10-2012 (05-07-2012, 01:10 PM)w123love(05-07-2012, 12:43 PM)led-panzer Stock 5.5 mm elements do not move enough fuel for anything close to that. Period. I've had cut DV's before, and yea they give a lot of power, but not anything close to that. I emailed the guy since hes local to me. He did not upgrade the elements. The numbers are clearly not true, you can tell because he switched to stock tires in the rear. That kind of power will eat most size tires. On the other hand its a cool project and he got most of the data from here. With an upgraded pump you could see something close to that power. This is the same problem with another local user here. Everyone puts in lots of money making air and never into the fuel.. RE: Craiglist alert thread - winmutt - 05-10-2012 (05-10-2012, 03:04 AM)sassparilla_kid wtf model car are these from, or are they aftermarket? Never seen them on a 190, onlye 123/126/116... Turbos? Razors? Made by Rial? RE: Craiglist alert thread - sassparilla_kid - 05-10-2012 (05-10-2012, 11:51 AM)winmutt(05-10-2012, 03:04 AM)sassparilla_kid wtf model car are these from, or are they aftermarket? I've never seen any like them before. also I wonder what offset they are Alright awesome, I called to ask about them, to maybe get info on the offset or something, but no answer. I'll try back later I called, the lady didn't seem to know anything about the wheels, and when she asked her husband he said they were stock mercedes wheels, so I'm guessing he doesn't know anything about them either. I'm debating whether or not I should go check them out or not RE: Craiglist alert thread - larsalan - 05-10-2012 I think they look pretty dope. It's 125 for a set, right? I hate when people advertise their wheels for $ per wheel. RE: Craiglist alert thread - sassparilla_kid - 05-11-2012 (05-10-2012, 04:08 PM)larsalan I think they look pretty dope. It's 125 for a set, right? I hate when people advertise their wheels for $ per wheel. Yeah I believe the price is for the set. I might call again tomorrow and go check them out. I just want some larger wheels than stock so I can fit w126 brakes in there, and the offset on the ones I got already are waaaaaaay off, so I'll need super thick spacers (15-20mm) and longer wheel bolts to make them work properly. If the offset on these is closer to stock I'll grab them and find some other use for the other wheels RE: Craiglist alert thread - sassparilla_kid - 05-15-2012 18" Lorinsers is this a good deal?? No info other than 18" http://fresno.craigslist.org/pts/3015754307.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - Theturbodave - 05-15-2012 (05-07-2012, 12:24 PM)led-panzer Oh yea, 400 hp on stock elements. If anyone doesn't believe what i posted you are more than welcome to come see for your self. I will strap it down on my dyno and let you see for yourself. You are more than welcome to come drive it around. I'm putting everything i did to this car in the project post under 300td drift project. Maybe some of the thing i did will help some of you with you project. I know i got alot of very helpful info from this site. But w123 air dams are quite rare to find these days. Oops, I meant to post that in the eBay section. . RE: Craiglist alert thread - w123love - 05-24-2012 I think I saw a Lorinser W123 air dam go for the upper 200 range a couple months ago. It here in the US. That seems pretty reasonable to me all things considered. RE: Craiglist alert thread - JB3 - 06-02-2012 anybody looking for an early 80s BMW sport coupe and into those cars? looks pretty intense, guy is willing to trade for a diesel mercedes. http://providence.craigslist.org/cto/3010924236.html RE: Craiglist alert thread - larsalan - 06-02-2012 That does look pretty mean.
