RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - mower16 - 09-05-2016 Thank you for your quick response. I must add I am loving the controller keep up the good work. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - ho55 - 09-15-2016 Does anyone have proven settings, file if possible? Also what do people change for the Winter mode? RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - jupel - 02-18-2017 Hi Ole! Is it possible, to take signal from abs on old revision controller? I try to make it, but it work unstable, and as i see the signal from abs sensor must be divided by 3? Can you help to solve it? RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - olefejer - 02-18-2017 (02-18-2017, 08:37 AM)jupel Hi Ole! Is it possible, to take signal from abs on old revision controller? I try to make it, but it work unstable, and as i see the signal from abs sensor must be divided by 3? Can you help to solve it? Hi Yes no-matter how old the controller is you can connect it to ABS, sensor But correct the newest ones has a real automotive ABS sensor chip that is used for both external Speed and RPM, that is more immune to noise then the older type. If the speed show 3 times to much, you goto "Setup Parameters" -> "External speed %" standart is 100 set it to 33 Then test and see if it fits, RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - jupel - 02-21-2017 (02-18-2017, 12:07 PM)olefejer(02-18-2017, 08:37 AM)jupel Hi Ole! Is it possible, to take signal from abs on old revision controller? I try to make it, but it work unstable, and as i see the signal from abs sensor must be divided by 3? Can you help to solve it? thanks, i've got a lost connection, and fix it and one more question: how about firmware update for old version with lcd displays and led gear indicator? it would be nice to have voltage relate firmness. Because i'm not want to have oled gear indicator in old car, in w124 is bad look. and install display in ashtray, look nice. and how about trans lock setting, i want to set speed for each gear separately, is it possible? RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - olefejer - 02-22-2017 (02-21-2017, 02:19 PM)jupelHi(02-18-2017, 12:07 PM)olefejer(02-18-2017, 08:37 AM)jupel Hi Ole! Is it possible, to take signal from abs on old revision controller? I try to make it, but it work unstable, and as i see the signal from abs sensor must be divided by 3? Can you help to solve it? If you want to keep the 4 Line older style display, i do not do software update for that anymore. Well voltage related firmness is only relevant if you voltage is different, from time to time and in a normal car that is running you have 13-14 Volt at controller. But is is an advantage for me when i ship it out, to many different cars, nomatter if it has 12V or 14V it will as default shift almost the same, way. Trans lock setting is like this you set the lockup speed you want in 5 gear, then that correspont to a specific RPM that is used in any other gear if you have set the controller to lockup in 2-4 gear also. So sorry no it is not possible to have different Lockup RPM in different gear. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - Fishman - 05-18-2017 I just installed the Ole controller. Easy job. There is a ext rpm connection on the controller. Can that be used to control the rpm guage? RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - hents99 - 05-18-2017 It`s for speedometer. Tachometer signal output would be very useful. Ole, think about it. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - Fishman - 05-18-2017 There is an other speedo out connection. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - olefejer - 05-19-2017 Hi Just to make things clear I have Input to TCU EXT Rpm is signal from Flywheel sensor to give TCU controller correct Engine RPM all the time. EXT Speed is signal from eventual ABS sensor or any other speed sensor to give speed of the car. to the TCU controller http://ofgear.dk/userguide/rpmkmin.html Output "Tacho out" is a failure by me, it should have said Speedo out, as it can drive a speedometer, Sorry for that confusion http://ofgear.dk/userguide/speedoout.html This typo is corrected on new controllers RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - Fishman - 05-20-2017 Again, THANKS! Installation of the controller was very straight forward. The display housing looks great! (05-19-2017, 04:14 PM)olefejer Hi RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - 606110 - 06-25-2017 Hi Ole, I'm a complete noob when it comes to automatic transmissions. I'm planning on putting an om606 with 722.626 in a Land Rover 110. Only Mercedes parts will be engine and gearbox. I presume there are detailed instructions when you purchase your controller? Kind Regards Fred RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - olefejer - 06-30-2017 (06-25-2017, 04:00 PM)606110 Hi Ole, I'm a complete noob when it comes to automatic transmissions. I'm planning on putting an om606 with 722.626 in a Land Rover 110. Only Mercedes parts will be engine and gearbox. I presume there are detailed instructions when you purchase your controller? Hi Fred Yes i have detailed information on my website. or write email for help. But if you mount the 622.6 and get the controller from me, I comes with wiring harness, Plug in big gearbox plug in to gearbox. Plug Gear Lever plug in to Gearlever. Mount a TPS sensor (Trottle Position Sensor), as i need to know the trottle to know how hard to shift. Supply +12V and Ground. That's it then you should be ready for first testdrive. Then later you can Add external speed from the car, ex from an ABS sensor or something. Ole RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - ross - 07-04-2017 Ole, Is the controller capable of controlling boost on a compound setup? RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - olefejer - 08-01-2017 (07-04-2017, 04:20 PM)ross Ole, Hi yes it can be used to control Compound, but there is so many ways to control them. I have in total 4 PWM output that can be used to control vaccumvalve. they can be controlled from 2 different boost sensors, RPM, Km/h, TPS. This is output 1 (Not shown im PWM mode but should give an idea how it works.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULEGavGRavs Also put in extra picture's on the Boost page on my homepage, scroll down to the end of this page. Here you see the 4 picture showing witch input is used for the 4 output. http://ofgear.dk/userguide/boostcontrol.html RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - olefejer - 08-03-2017 Hi Finally i also now support the Tiptronic shifter PRND+/- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyvh2pa4d8A http://ofgear.dk/userguide/gearlever.html But The boltpatterne is different from the PRND4321 tybe. This means the Tiptronic shifter is not bolt on to W463 G Class and W124 E class. as the PRND4321 is. just so that you know. But it will fit the Wood trim, so a little creativity and it can be used in those cars also. Also thanks to Baldur for the help. :-) . RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - s1984 - 11-30-2017 Hey Ole Fejer, i´m a customer from germany and i have a question about your controller. My car has the 722.636 in it and now i´m in to finish the harness and set up the controller/ ecu. I have a 722.643 (Speedshift version E55 Kompressor) transmission sitting here. to rebuild it as a spare one. Does it makes a difference if i will use the 636 or the 643 Speedshift transmission with your controller? We can set up the shift pressure so is it possible to set the shifting speed too? Thanks for your help mate. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - Evgeniy1987 - 12-05-2017 722.363 is not an electronically controlled transmission, Ole's controller is meant for the 722.6xx transmissions. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - s1984 - 12-05-2017 Sorry i mean the 722.636. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - Evgeniy1987 - 12-06-2017 http://www.all-trans.by/assets/site/files/mercedes/722.6.1.pdf As far as I am informed, the control part of these transmissions is similar.. the differences are in the power transmitting hardware.. clutches, brakes, gears.. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - olefejer - 12-06-2017 (11-30-2017, 02:31 PM)s1984 Hey Ole Fejer, Hi Correct as what Evgenjy1987 wrote, the initial setup is the same. A harder shift is an faster shift, you can not set the shift time, you can set how hard the shift should be. But please do not adjust anything before first test drive. only setup TPS to go from 0-100% thats it then do testdrive. And do not adjust firmness before you are at gearbox temp between 60-80. Ole RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - s1984 - 12-06-2017 I will do thanks for your help guys. About one hour ago i have read your manual for the controller again. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - jupel - 09-06-2018 Hi all I have this controller on my 606.910 about 3 years. After all time and more 60000 km mielage with it I have to say some remark - I not understand an algorithms of firmness, depending of temperature correction. For example my setting (sw 204) when it work somehow adequate is: general firmness =4 line press max/min: line low load =22 press low load = 32 it is for 1-2 2-1 2-3 3-2 temp line -20 deg = = -10 temp line 120 deg = 12 temp press -20 deg = -10 temp press 120 deg = 12 time to time it was hanging out when 3-2 shifting, so I changed line reg time from 10 to 12 ms, and it work with this setting and it can shift without kiking with a quiet ride. I want to see math formula for understanding how it tunes. My general resentment is when you drive full throttle then release the pedal fast, you have hard shift. Some feel that controller is dicide to do shift with load, calculated with full throttle and not seen that when it do it, the throttle is off. another situation - you start driving fast, with full throttle and next time you is pressing the brake pedal and there you feel boom, your transmission decide that you will drive on Do not tell me about manual shift, because i drive mostly in the city with hard traffic I ask Ole for use brake light signal to block shifting, but he didn't think it was necessary. Sad. RE: Gearbox Controller 722.6 ver 2 - 3zooz - 06-20-2020 superturbodiesel.com To sell: 722.6 controller by olefeijer |
