4.6L SOHC Ford That was procharged ... Couldn't hang ... Poor powdered rod!

Broke the front axle in my Cherokee and had to drive 20 miles on it (the front end is live).

Cracked Flex plate from the Sprint

Pulled my buddies truck out of a ditch ... Took a Yukon and a Tahao hooked together to do it.

Back to the 4.6L Ford ... Shredded the only belt on the car...

Jumped the streetbike off a curb at 60mph

Smoked the pinion bearings in the Sprint

The truck got dismantled and drivetrain put into my bronco. I'm going to try an autotragic this time around and see how I like it. I've taken the bronco down some crazy trails. That's what I built it for.

I'll have some Mercedes diff carnage pics to post tomorrow I think. I'm having a very odd noise that I guess is the center pin hitting the pinion.

Kinda a shitty time to happen when the bronco is down for the count too. And all this rain isn't helping.

Diff out of my Sd I swapped out tonight. The center pin lost the keeper and was hitting the pinion.

That's why I would never drive a nice vehicle in winter around the rust belt.To many people sliding into each other.If I did drive in that area in the winter,I'd have some heavy duty offroad bumpers and nerf bars to protect the body from damage.

I don't think he stopped. I think he just lost momentum when he turned slightly to avoid the SUV in the middle of the road, the tires lost traction and then he lost it from there.

Yeah, what was he thinking! But a nice slide in taking out those cars none the less.

I dont understand why everyone locked their wheels! Its Colorado, I assumed people knew how to drive in the snow.

Its Colorado, Denver is technically a desert with 300 dry days/year. Natives here have a natural defense mechanism where the brain shuts down if any amount of moisture is visible on the ground.
It also didn't help that '10 was the driest year since 1878.

lol, Another guy and I wrote a business plan in school to start a business renting winter rats to people. Essentially the idea was to rent out old cop cars or cabs with snow tires and heavy duty bumpers for a monthly fee and no charge on minor body damage that did not effect operation of the car, and at the same time provide winter storage for peoples nice cars. Still think its a viable plan, would definitely have been fun.

A few weeks ago I was going a clutch on a Pete and I thought I had the #2 carrier bearing in but as I was putting the u-joint straps on the carrier fell down and 20ft of driveshaft fell and smashed my finger inside a now maxed out u-joint. It instantly ripped my nail off, broke my finger and the funny part is that I jumped up and hit my head on the edge of the truck bed and knocked myself out cold.
