7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - Actros617 - 04-14-2010 I dont know if there was a repost. But here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zy32Ol9CPao&feature=related RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - ForcedInduction - 04-14-2010 10 seconds with a powerbrake...... RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - JTY - 04-14-2010 (04-14-2010, 12:18 AM)Actros617 I dont know if there was a repost. But here That's pretty bad for an 7mm pp-diesel pump, somethings wrong with that setup RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - George3soccer - 04-14-2010 I want, and need 7mm RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - Deni - 04-14-2010 Don't know what u guys are talking about but I counted 7 sec to 100km, which is the same as a w124 m104 with 220hp. The shift to second was quite slow but the speed climbed quite fast, especially in 3rd. Apart from 7mm, what are the other mods done to that car? RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - Actros617 - 04-15-2010 The shifts sounded like the trans is flaring in each gear. RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - winmutt - 04-19-2010 I emailed the guy and never got a response. RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - The Toecutter - 04-25-2010 The acceleration from this upgrade is quite impressive. It about matches a Ford Crown Victoria V8 police interceptor. RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - muuris - 04-25-2010 Not 617 and not 0-120, but... OM606, 7mm elements, 1800kg chassis. Video. RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - Deni - 04-25-2010 (04-25-2010, 09:31 AM)muuris Not 617 and not 0-120, but... OM606, 7mm elements, 1800kg chassis. Was it 100kph under 5sec and 160kph under 10sec? That was FAAAAAAAAAST RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - muuris - 04-25-2010 (04-25-2010, 10:38 AM)Deni Was it 100kph under 5sec and 160kph under 10sec? That was FAAAAAAAAAST Not quite 0-100 km/h 6,1s and 0-160 km/h 11,7s (GPS) RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - ForcedInduction - 04-25-2010 Yes, THAT was fast. RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - The Toecutter - 04-25-2010 (04-25-2010, 09:31 AM)muuris Not 617 and not 0-120, but... OM606, 7mm elements, 1800kg chassis. That acceleration from 60-100 mph is about like a new Corvette Z06, despite a 0-60 mph time that is somewhat modest, on par with an Audi TT. Got to love the highway passing abilities of a turbodiesel... RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - Deni - 04-26-2010 I bet that's a handful in wet conditions without TC. Lets say you're in twisty forest wet roads. Slow car in front doing 20-ish MPH speed. Too slow to overtake in 3rd, so you drop to 2nd, stomp the go-pedal, boost climbs up, wheels surrender, you pass the other car doing doughnuts . RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - muuris - 04-26-2010 (04-26-2010, 01:57 AM)Deni I bet that's a handful in wet conditions without TC. Yes, it was fun to drive even last autumn with GT37v. Floor on 1st-2nd, will loose traction at ~70km/h, speedo stays at 130km/h and wheels spin until accelerator is released. LSD is a must. Too bad the car is heavy, the acceleration doesn't just feel even though it's kinda fast for a daily driver. RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - Deni - 04-26-2010 I know what you mean. I remember once I was coming back home from the airport, after seeing off a friend of mine. It was about 4am in the morning and the street sweeping car had just passed, so the roads were wet. I could loose traction and go sideways, in the straight, on asphalt doing 60kph in 4th . Scary stuff with all the cars parked on the side of the street. RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - winmutt - 04-28-2010 This is my best run, for comparison http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nREKAqKt1E RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - jeemu - 05-22-2010 Om605 acceleration vid. Speedo show little less than real speed, because gear ratio http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zs5W-e_HBs RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - jarle - 09-14-2010 (04-14-2010, 03:56 PM)Deni Don't know what u guys are talking about but I counted 7 sec to 100km, which is the same as a w124 m104 with 220hp. Hi it is my video you are talking about. this video is taken the same night i got my pump installed. Only pump are changed, stock turbo, stock wastegate, stock aircleaner, stock pre pump stock transmission. This is a OM.617.952 with 450.000 km. This is a w126 car and the weigt of the car was about 1800 kg. I think it was impressive. Now i have modified much more, HY35, bigger exhaust (4 inch) bigger intake, intercooler. But same engine only now 490.000 km. This is my daly driver. No big problems. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kn2wXYr4XtM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0EMUkKih3s RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - ForcedInduction - 09-14-2010 By the wastegate thats an HE351w, not an HY35. RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - willbhere4u - 09-14-2010 whats was the 1/4 mile time? looks pretty good! RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - jarle - 09-15-2010 1/8 mile (201m.) 6.9 sec. RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - winmutt - 09-15-2010 LOL I love the announcers ah! at the end LOL. That porsche just got smoked! My cousin lives in troms0 with his wife and kids, he works for the university I think? How was the 1/8 mile time counted? Hand timed or? Thats short of amazing. Is that a Porsche Cayenne S? RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - MJF - 09-15-2010 (09-15-2010, 03:00 AM)jarle 1/8 mile (201m.) 6.9 sec. That would count 10,8 at 1/4 mile RE: 7 mm element 0-120 KM/h video - Jtn190D - 09-15-2010 How much HP/TQ? |
