I have a 500cc twin-pot diesel car--Not M.B. I know, But thought with all the expertise here someone would know the smallest commercial 'normal'--ie not special build Turbocharger available...?
Out of curiosity, the car is an Aixam and has a 500cc two-cyl. Kubota engine....

The little KKK turbo from the 97-99 E Klass OM606 would probably work. Otherwise, a Garrett GT12 is a microscopic little turbo that would be cool but it's REALLY expensive for it's size...

You can probably get away with a GT15. They are physically small, plentiful and cheap.

RHB51w on the Maserati Biturbo has two turbos split across 2.0-2.8L.
IHI RHF3 and RHB31 used on 660cc Japanese Kei cars.
KKK KP31 used on the Smart ForTwo (integrated manifold)

Hmm!
Holset HX series is Bigger than the Engine complete! Thinking out loud--prolly never do anything with it, but the GT15 and the equiv KKK are Very common here, could easily get a good one for nowt!....
--Guess I could try one of those--for a larf!

stick that micro turbo at the egr exhaust port and egr intake and you got your self a somewhat compound turbo with 1% gain...

No EGR on Aixam...Think Lawn Tractor or small generator engine, Z482 Kubota!
The exhaust pipe is only 1" diameter!
