My friend has a N/A om606 E300 (from 1996). His injection pump went out and he found a replacement from a turbo om606. Will the turbo IP work in the N/A car? I don't know very much about the newer cars. I looked around a bit but I can't find what I'm looking for. If anyone knows if the turbo IP will work in the N/A car let me know. He needs a new IP but doesn't want to spend the money on it unless it will work (obviously

No. The injection elements are a different size which will piss off the ECM and set a CEL.
