Turbo on a 617 N/A - Fernando BR - 07-29-2010 I know 617A is a diferent animal , with piston lubrification, special valves, etc...The question is that here government rules are very complex about engine changes. Other hand i do not want to change datacard engine . My idea is basicly instal a garret or kkk and stay with M RSF pump only increasing about 20 or 30% IP delivery. That will give me the little extra powe i need without high EGRs troubles as at high speeds and high offroad rpms moisture is going to be poor . Troubles? A little power (10-20%) won't significantly hurt the lifespan. The turbo engines only have 40% more power and if you've read the SAE paper you know what troubles MB had just to get that.
