need to lower it 3in. in the freont and 2 in the back - Ellerd123 - 08-11-2010 need to lower it 3in. in the freont and 2 in the back, and i cant find springs that lower it that much so how many coils do i need to cut to drop it that much? RE: need to lower it 3in. in the freont and 2 in the back - winmutt - 08-12-2010 One full coil per inch give or take in the front. I would just start with 3 in front and 2 in rear and see where it goes? RE: need to lower it 3in. in the freont and 2 in the back - Captain America - 08-13-2010 I started with 1.5 coils the first time with my w123, then cut another half off. Now I can take the fronts in and out without a spring compressor!
