Anyone has feedback on http://www.tuningbox.com/ - glucic - 09-15-2010 Hi, I own MB GL320 CDI and VW TDI and would like to tune them. Googling, I found site/product that seems to be "a OK" - http://www.tuningbox.com/ Has anyone used their product before and if Yes what is the feedback. I do not want to blow up my engines. The tunned kW/PS numbers they posted are in "green" area . . . however I still wonder whether it is all as they advertise. Best -G RE: Anyone has feedback on http://www.tuningbox.com/ - plurkje - 09-19-2010 Those boxes are a bad idea, all they do is fooling the engine management so it thinks it needs advenced injection under all circumstances. My opinion is: CDI engines don't endure those evil tuners well. I've seen a lot of blown pistons and damaged injectors to prove I'm right. If you can afford a GL you should mess with cheap ideas, bottom line. RE: Anyone has feedback on http://www.tuningbox.com/ - ForcedInduction - 09-19-2010 Tuning boxes are terrible options. All they do is screw with sensor outputs and injector duration. Reflash the ECU. |
